InnoVEX 2018 is Fully Booked, Reaching Record High

his year will be the third time InnoVEX will be organized in Taiwan WTC Hall 3. With the main theme of “Innovation hub of Asia”, InnoVEX will be held From June 6th to 8th. TCA stated that more than 300 startups are expected to exhibit from over 20 countries, with the exhibitor list to be published in the near future. Visitors can expect exhibitors from not only Taiwan, but also Canada, Japan, Singapore, Philippines, Belgium, Malaysia, Austria, Poland, France, Spain, the Netherlands, US, Mexico, and other countries to be announced later.
The focus of InnoVEX 2018’s exhibitors will be AR/VR, IoT, consumer technologies, AI, enterprise services, and cloud computing. One of the organizers, TCA stated that there will be three matchmaking sessions to help startup teams find funding and partners. These matchmaking sessions are not only from the organizers, but also from the TIEC (Taiwan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center), and AABI (Asian Association of Business Incubation). The TIEC international investor matchmaking will expect the presence of 25 VCs and will include a pitch session. The AABI matchmaking session will invite VCs and incubators. The third session themed “Better than Smart” matchmaking session will have corporate representatives and pitch for the startups.
The TIEC matchmaking is supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and is an open event where interested startups are encouraged to join. This event will have an online data collection to help the VCs to select the startups they are interested in. 20 startups among the registered startups will be selected to pitch on stage to the VCs. Interested startups must register before April 15th.
