Industry News: Taiwan develops fast, accurate coronavirus test kit

Portable Rapid Test System of Nucleic Acids, developed by Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), is able to detect coronavirus within an hour, with the accuracy rate of 90%. According to ITRI, the testing system can detect coronavirus before the onset of disease when the symptoms, such as fever, display. It can be used in the airport and clinics to manage the spread of the virus.
