InnoVEX 2024 Pavilions Highlight Sustainability in the TREE Pavilion and Local Industries in the KLCG DEA Pavilion

As one of the organizers of InnoVEX 2024, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) stated that the event will be held from June 4 to 7, 2024 in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX) Halls 1 and 2. The event this year will focus on 4 major themes: AI, ESG & Green Technology, Smart Mobility, and Semiconductor Applications that gathered 400 startups from 30 countries and regions. In total, InnoVEX 2024 will have a total of 22 pavilions from international trade offices, startup accelerators, government agencies, and more.

TREE Pavilion Promotes ESG and Sustainability

The Taiwan Research Institute Entrepreneur Ecosystem program (TREE Program) is an initiative launched by the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MoEA). The program aims to forge a startup ecosystem and to facilitate the industrialization of scientific research results generated in Taiwan through systematic and customized venture guidance. Organized under the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), the TREE Program Pavilion in InnoVEX 2024 will feature startups focusing on various industries including AI, sustainability, IoT, Biotech, and more.

The startups joining the TREE Program Pavilion include:
  • Pade Technology
    Pade Technology is developing an intelligent sorting system that utilizes near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy for fast non-contact identification of textile materials and AI machine learning for high accuracy. The accuracy of the sorting system has been recognized by professional organizations and successfully tested in production processes at major recycled polyester (PET) manufacturers in Taiwan.
  • Holon Robotics
    Holon Robotics is a team specialized in industrial robotics automation technology, playing a key role in the Asian manufacturing automation industry. With the rapid expansion of industrial robot applications, the team focuses on in-depth research and development of sensors and robot application technologies. Holon Robotics has successfully developed HolonOS: an advanced robot core software.
  • mesoView
    mesoView is a start-up company dedicated to developing various advanced ultrafast laser and extreme optoelectronic engineering technologies, and applying them to solve several long-standing scientific challenges. It presents engineering solutions through imaging to provide needed nanoscopic microscopy tools for current clinical medicine, neuroscience applications, and beyond.
  • DeepRad.AI
    DeepRad.AI utilizes advanced AI and medical imaging technology for early screening and prevention of common diseases in middle-aged and elderly populations. Their AI Powered Screening Platform: DeepLung-CAC automatically detects lung nodules, predicts coronary artery calcification risk, and assesses bone density risk using a single set of low-dose chest CT scans.
  • Taiwan Polymer Material Company (t.p.m.c.)
    With its Ultra-fast fluid technology process, Taiwan Polymer Material Company (t.p.m.c) can convert end-of-life tires into highly reactive and valuable recycled rubber materials and metals. They are the only one who can provide recycled rubber powder fully complied with the GB/T15904-2020 standard for the use of tire additives (polyisoprene).
The TREE Program Pavilion will feature more startups joining the TREE Program and will join InnoVEX 2024 in booth S0315a. Visitors can also join the TREE Program Pavilion Opening Ceremony and Award Ceremony on June 5, 10:00 - 11:30. They will also hold a startup matchmaking event on the same day. KLCG DEA Pavilion to Introduce Local Industries to the World

Keelung aims to foster a supportive environment for youth entrepreneurship by integrating cutting-edge technologies like 5G, AI, IoT, and sensor technology. Their goal is to stimulate innovation in research and development and enhance the collaborative power of industrial sectors. To harness Keelung's abundant natural resources, the City Government has launched the "Embrace Keelung" initiative, focusing on local agriculture and fisheries.

The Keelung City Government's Industrial Development Office in Taiwan focuses on enhancing local industries as it aims to create a business-friendly environment. As their debut participation in InnoVEX, the Keelung City Government Department of Economic Affairs (KLCG DEA) Pavilion's main theme is Open Doors for Keelung: Innovating Slow Living with Tech. The pavilion will showcase six innovators from the following categories: 1) Fostering Global Urban Development Innovations and 2) Empowering Local Sustainable Living and Tourism.

The startups joining the KLCG DEA Pavilion include:
  • SmartDisplayer
    Founded in 2002, SmartDisplayer has been fully dedicated to the development and manufacturing of cold lamination; specializing in IC, display, module circuits, and firmware design. Today, SmartDisplayer is also continuously developing other fields, such as the application of blockchain and telemedicine, to provide more diversified services.
  • BlueTrend
    BlueTrend is dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of nearshore marine environments, both in Taiwan and other island nations, by addressing the scarcity of foundational data. Their business model centers around a "Multilingual Cross-border Sustainable Diving Tourism Platform", which seamlessly integrates with the Marine Citizen Science Database.
  • Hosuan Technology
    Hosuan Technology was established in 2021 with the service concept of convenience, speed and safety as its core. Through the concept of shared umbrellas combined with the sharing economy, it is possible enhance people's awareness of the importance of effective resource utilization and sharing. This model not only brings convenience, but also helps promote sustainable development and reduce waste and resource consumption.

●InnoVEX 2024 Event Overview●


As the special startup focused event of COMPUTEX, InnoVEX 2024 will be held concurrently with COMPUTEX 2024. The event will focus on 4 major topics: Semiconductor Applications, AI, Smart Mobility, and Green Tech. In total, over 400 startups from 30 countries and regions will join InnoVEX 2024. This year, InnoVEX will feature speakers from major global tech companies including Renesas, PSMC, and more. The winners of the InnoVEX Pitch Contest 2024 will be able to win prizes including cash or professional resource and services sponsored by Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC), the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration (SMESA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Business Startup Support Centre (BSSC), KPMG, NVIDIA, NXP, the ResorTech EXPO in Okinawa Executive Committee, PwC, and Taiwania Capital.

InnoVEX Pitch Contest 2024: Still open for registration, finalists will be announced May 28, final round and award ceremony will be held on June 6. Registration for the Pitch Contest will end on May 13 so interested startups are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
