InnoVEX Pitch Contest Features a Stellar Judging Panel — Finals to Take Place on June 4th Afternoon
AI technology is rapidly transitioning from cloud computing to the physical world. AI applications have expanded from standalone software services to smart devices, robotics, mobile vehicles, and other industrial technologies. TCA states that "Physical AI" will direct the next wave of technological development. Therefore, in addition to focusing on AI, Semiconductors, and Deep Tech innovation, the InnoVEX 2026 Pitch Contest emphasizes strengthening connections with consumer markets and real-world application scenarios.
In addition to assembling a panel of APAC market and vertical industry experts, this year's preliminary round jury has for the first-time invited Daniel Wu, Vice President of Technology and Operations at The Walt Disney Company, to serve as a judge. Wu brings a global entertainment technology and consumer application perspective, joining startup teams in exploring the real-world deployment and commercialization opportunities of AI technology in future markets.
The final round jury will be chaired by Ting-An Wang (汪庭安), Executive Secretary of the National Development Fund, and brings together key decision-makers from global venture capital, semiconductor, and deep tech sectors. The panel includes Karen Yu (余宛如), President of the Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC); Peter Hsieh (謝弘輝), former Taiwan Managing Partner of Arm and current Chief Innovation Officer of Alpha Ring International; Andy Lombard, Founder of U.S.-based TESORO VC; and Dr. Olivier Rousseaux, Investment Director at imec, a leading European nanoelectronics R&D hub. Additionally, Alois Eder, a German expert with a background as former Intel CTO, will also join the judging panel. Together, they will conduct in-depth evaluations of each team's competitiveness across dimensions including technical architecture, industrialization capability, and global market potential.
TCA remarks that this year's InnoVEX Pitch Contest is not merely a startup competition, but an important platform for connecting technology, capital, and international markets. The top 15 teams will compete on the InnoVEX Center Stage on the afternoon of June 4th, delivering live presentations and holding Q&A sessions. The jury will announce the results and hold an awards ceremony following the conclusion of the finals.
TCA welcomes global startups, investors, and industry partners to attend and discover the next wave of innovation in AI and Deep Tech.
