Infrastructure Inspection Using Intelligent Unmanned Systems

Intelligent Unmanned System R&D Group (CYIUS) at Chung Yuan Christian University, was formed in 2015, marking a new era for professional infrastructure inspection using the intelligent unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and industrial applications. With over 10 years R&D experiences with UAV, we’ve built various types of hardware including aerial, ground and above water vehicles with near infrared (NIR) sensing. All of our vehicles can be customized with integrated hardware and software and with vector thrust technology, we can control the vehicles better which also enhanced monitoring performances. Our integrated vehicle all came with the easy-to-use professional platform that can simultaneously control multiple heterogeneous vehicles using our unified autopilot system. For infrastructure inspections, all the data can be collected with complete integration of position, visual and other sensor data with measurement error within 0.5 mm.
